Warehouse Induction Information
This course is designed for individuals preparing to enter warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or food processing environments. It is suitable for job seekers entering these industries for the first time, individuals transitioning into a new industry, or those re-entering the workforce after a period of unemployment.
The program is also appropriate for new employees requiring a structured warehouse induction and for employers seeking to onboard staff with foundational workplace safety and packaging skills.

To enrol in this course, participants must be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) prior to the issuance of a Statement of Attainment.
Participants must possess basic English language and communication skills sufficient to understand safety instructions, complete written assessment tasks, and participate in workplace discussions.
Participants must also be physically capable of performing manual tasks associated with warehouse activities, including lifting, bending and handling packaged goods.
This course delivers the nationally recognised units of competency:
TLIF0025 – Follow Work Health and Safety Procedures
TLIA0020 – Package Goods
Training is delivered face-to-face over two (2) days, typically from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
The program provides participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and effectively in warehouse and logistics environments. Training includes structured learning activities, practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises aligned with nationally endorsed training package requirements.
All training and assessment is conducted by qualified and experienced trainers in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
Participants are required to complete assessment activities to demonstrate competency in accordance with the requirements of TLIF0025 and TLIA0020.
Assessment methods may include written knowledge assessment, practical activities, and trainer observation. Participants must demonstrate an understanding of workplace health and safety procedures, hazard identification, manual handling techniques, and safe packaging practices.
All assessment activities must be completed to the required standard in order for a Statement of Attainment to be issued.
If you believe you may require reasonable adjustment or additional support during assessment, you must notify STAR Education prior to commencement of training.
Upon successful completion of all assessment requirements, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for:

TLIA0020 – Package Goods
These units are nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and may support employment opportunities within warehouse, logistics, manufacturing and related industries.
Successful completion of this course does not guarantee employment. Participants are responsible for meeting any additional employer or site-specific requirements.
The course fee for the Warehouse Induction Program is $400 per participant.
This fee includes training, assessment, learner resources, and the issuance of a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion.
Payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place in the course. Enrolment confirmation is subject to payment and completion of the required enrolment documentation.
