Service Description
This training ensures you meet the WorkSafe Victoria licensing and compliance requirements for the safe transport of dangerous goods by road, in accordance with Victorian legislation and the Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code as applied in Victoria. Successful participants will undertake assessment against the nationally recognised unit TLILIC0001 – Licence to Transport Dangerous Goods by Road. Once payment is received, you’ll be sent a link to complete the enrolment form and confirm your course date. Please note that payment secures your booking; however, enrolment is not finalised until the form has been submitted.

How to request a refund Refund requests must be submitted in writing by emailing info@staredu.com.au and must include the student’s full name, course name, enrolment date, and the reason for the request. Full Refunds A full refund will be provided where: The student withdraws in writing within the 10-business-day cooling-off period for enrolments made via telemarketing or unsolicited door-to-door sales, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law; or STAR Education cancels or postpones a course prior to commencement and an alternative date is not accepted by the student or employer. Partial or Pro-Rata Refunds Partial or pro-rata refunds may be provided where: STAR Education is unable to continue delivery of the course or a component of the training as agreed. Refunds will be calculated based on the portion of training and assessment not yet delivered. Withdrawals After Course Commencement Where a student withdraws after a course has commenced: Refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account training and assessment already delivered, learning resources issued, and reasonable administrative costs incurred. Refund Outcome Students will be notified in writing of the outcome of their refund request within 28 business days of submission. Non-Refundable Fees The following fees are non-refundable: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application fees Reassessment fees Replacement or reissued certificates ($50 per document) Fees for units or courses where training and/or assessment has already been provided Refund Payments and Records Approved refunds will be paid to the original payer using the original payment method wherever possible. Refunds will be processed within 28 business days of approval. All refund transactions are recorded and retained securely in accordance with record-keeping requirements. Students may appeal a refund decision in line with STAR Education’s Complaints and Appeals Policy.
